He did an absolute terrible job playing against the Chargers. The Broncos lost… So we are second in the division. bummer. Oh the lighter side, Vikings won!!!! Wooooo! That made my day. Hopefully, they go to the Superbowl.
I have a head cold. I’ve been battling it out for the entire weekend almost. It’s one of those that you can’t breath, so you barely get any good sleep at night and you wake up with a sore throat. Ugh.
You know, we are supposed to get a week off for Thanksgiving right? Sometimes, now this is rare, a professor will be extremely mean to his/her online class. For example: my Urban Sociology class has an assignment that is due this Friday and a quiz to take over this weekend. Now, you’re probably looking at your calenders going “wait, that’s Thanksgiving weekend.” You betcha it’s Thanksgiving weekend. Way to go for the professors for handing out homework and being a kill joy on the Holidays. Now if you go to class on campus, that wouldn’t happen….because your professors don’t see you and probably wouldn’t ask you to drive to campus on Thanksgiving to turn in homework! So, there you have it. Sometimes, it really gets under my skin taking online classes when it comes to Holidays. Hey, at least we don’t have school on Christmas!
Speaking of Christmas, this entire semester has been about my wedding. December 26th, I will be getting married. I’m doing my own flowers, programs, and being my own wedding coordinator. I have had the time to do this because of my classes online. (it’s a love/ hate relationship sometimes…) I’ll keep you updated on all the wedding stuff. I have 33 days to go!

Seen the inside of a chemotherapy room in a center center? If you have never been a care giver or a cancer patient then you’ve never been in the medical smelling area. I wanted to take the video camera in, but there is such a thing of protecting the privacy of patients. So, you can’t really do that. Anyway, it’s a room usually with a lot of windows and it has a lot of big recliners. These recliners are kind of covered in plastic… actually, they are plastic. It’s not soft suede or leather. Then you have IV poles all over the place and you get use to seeing heparin and saline solution.
Well, I went back to the cancer center this week to get my checkup. All went well. Sorry you got no picture as to what the terrible place looks like.
In other news! We have two weeks or so left of school! I hope you are ready for your finals! Man it seems like yesterday that I was just talking about finishing the midterms off! What happened?! Did you sign up for online classes? To get the hang of how online classes work, is not that hard. So don’t fret if it’s your first time taking the class. Play around on the first day and you’ll get the idea in about 20 minutes max. I think I may take the video camera and show you how the online classes work. That is- if the picture is clear from camera to computer screen…I’m not too sure how that will turn out.
Well then! I hope it all goes well on your end. I will be posting later this weekend. If you haven’t already, you may want to consider figuring out your classes and signing up for them.
101.1 is already playing Christmas music 24/7 for all you Christmas (or whatever celebration you prefer) lovers like me!!!

Well, this weekend was interesting. I was fretting over a literature review that I thought was due on Sunday. It wasn’t. All that stress, for nothing.
This weekend was an interesting one. I found out more about the people that I didn’t know much about in the first place. Ya know what? My annoyance for them grew. Sometimes, strong relationships were never meant to be with some people. I’m a very head strong person who is stubborn as ever. It’s just that when I get something in my head, it’s going to stay. When I decide to do something, it’s going to get done. Yet, some people look at me like I am way too young and couldn’t possibly know anything. Posh. Don’t underestimate the young ones in this world. Hence the title of this blog. Excuse me but you’re not the one that knows everything about me and my life… I DO.
Anyway! Exciting news for everyone! We have about 3 weeks left. Online classes this semester are slightly different. I am not too sure if students have to go to classes on campus any time throughout the week of Thanksgiving, but for my online classes we don’t have any work to do that week. Which means that I have 2 weeks left of work and then the finals. WOW! All done! Can you believe it?! I have also noticed another difference between online classes and going to class. The midterms and finals in class are worth a lot more points than those taken online. Why? My guess is that when you do online courses the professors give you a lot more homework to do, to make sure that you are keeping up with the readings and actually learning. In class, they make sure you are working by seeing that you are in class and give you less assignments. So, those extra assignments you do online, make up some of the points on the midterm and final. For example: My biology final is only worth 40 points out of the 600 or 700 points we have already. In urban sociology, we have a final only worth 20 points, I believe.
So, I guess if you are really bad at taking tests…you may want to try online classes. (but only if you have self-discipline.)
That’s all for today! I hope everything is going well with you!
