Hi Jo,
Congratulations on the progress you've made over the last 7 months! That's awesome!

I teach online classes and have had several students with various health issues. Online classes really are a blessing for those who are dealing health challenges.

I am excited to have found your blog and will be back to continue reading about your life as an online student. Kudos to you!

I got sick last week, too! It's been pretty miserable around my household. Here's hoping you're on the up and up soon. I'm enjoying reading your blog!

Creativity in the way to present knowledge could be done. The way a professor presents the information to the students. As of textbooks, the only new information can come from new studies and repeatable results. So we first have to be creative to discover how to fulfill those needs.

For labs maybe a teacher could put together a video production of a lab being done and have them fill in the answer to the questions on lab sheets and observe via video rather than having each student spend hundreds of dollars on kits?
Creativity can be used in any area....otherwise problem solving wouldn't occur.

Speaking of remakes.... Originality - in education?? I think not. Most courses are the same old tired text book - maybe re-written by one of the Prof's so they can sell it to subsidize their income. Perhaps the addition of a lab kit so the additional cost of the course can become astonomic??

At least we still have our own creativity to be inspired by.
